The Committee agreed to take items 5 and 6 in private and agreed to take items in private at the next meeting.

2. European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018:

The Committee considered a proposal by the Scottish Government to consent to the UK Government legislating using the powers under the Act in relation to the following UK statutory instrument— .

The Committee agreed that the provisions set out in the notifications should be included in the UK SI. 

3. Independent Review into Racism in Scottish Cricket:

The Committee took evidence from—

Gordon Arthur, Interim Chief Executive, Cricket Scotland;

Forbes Dunlop, Chief Operating Officer, sportscotland.

4. Experiences of health and social care integration:

The Committee took evidence from—

Vicky Irons, Chief Officer, Dundee Integration Joint Board;

Judith Proctor, Chief Officer of Edinburgh Integration Joint Board and Chair, Chief Officer Group;

Stephen Brown, Chief Officer, Orkney Health and Social Care Partnership;

Allen Stevenson, Head of Health & Community Care, Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership.

5. Consideration of Evidence:

The Committee considered the evidence it heard under agenda items 3 and 4.

6. National Care Service (Scotland) Bill:

The Committee agreed its approach to scrutiny of the Bill.
