Homebase Information

If you have not done so, please complete your Online Student Orientation. We strongly advise you to finish all sections PRIOR to your arrival in the United States. Completion rates and time spent on the course will be monitored for each student.

Upon finishing your F-1/J-1 Student Orientation course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate is necessary for your immigration check-in with OISS upon arrival on campus. Learn more about check-in on the New Student Arrival Checklist.

A gentle reminder to please fill out the to assist us in coordinating your shuttle pickup upon arrival if you haven’t already. Your input will ensure a smoother transition to campus.

Airport Shuttle Schedule

OISS is providing limited airport shuttles on Sunday, September 15 at 11:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, and we will provide more information as orientation gets closer. Other common ways to get to campus are Lyft/Uber, CTA Buses, Taxi, the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) 'L' train or Metra train.
