That the Parliament congratulates the Maryhill-based Glasgow Tool Library, which applied its knowledge to revamp a rundown portacabin for Make It Glasgow, a north Glasgow project that teaches skills through clay projects; notes that the initiative was part of the Glasgow Tool Library’s community build series, where volunteers upgrade spaces for groups providing essential services across Glasgow; welcomes that the portacabin was reimagined as a welcoming and functional art bothy, where the charity can host members and crafting events, and understands that this effort, backed by the National Lottery Community Fund and the Glasgow Wellbeing Fund, embodies the Glasgow Tool Library’s mission of community empowerment.
