That the Parliament congratulates Linthouse Housing Association (LHA) on the milestone of its 50th Anniversary; understands that it was one of the first Community Controlled Housing Associations (CCHAs) in Glasgow to harness the energy of local people to improve their inner-city neighbourhood; believes that over the past 50 years, it continues to deliver high quality and cost-effective housing services designed to meet the needs of existing and future customers by creating and sustaining lasting, vibrant homes in stable, popular, and ambitious urban communities; recognises the many accolades that it has won over the years, including Best Regeneration Project at the 2023 Inside Housing Developments Awards for Cromdale Square; understands that, during 2023-24, LHA secured just under £46,000 in grant funding to support its community regeneration work; further understands that it is developing a calendar of celebratory events and initiatives, which will go on throughout the year with tenants fully involved, ensuring the proud history of the organisation is commemorated, and extends warm wishes to everyone on the team for many more successful years ahead.
