Elderpark Housing Association's 50th Anniversary

That the Parliament congratulates Elderpark Housing Association on the milestone of its 50th Anniversary; believes that community-based housing associations play a pivotal role in Scottish life; understands that Elderpark Housing has contributed immensely to the local community during its 50 years, not just in building new homes but in supporting the local neighbourhoods and the people who live there; recognises the multiple accolades won by Elderpark Housing, including the Excellence for Learning and Development award in the 2023 Chartered Institute of Housing Scotland Housing Awards, Housing Organisation of the Year at the TIS National Excellence Awards, and a TPAS award for its initiative working with local schools the same year; understands that it is developing a calendar of celebratory events and initiatives, which will go on throughout the year with tenants fully involved, ensuring the proud history of the organisation is commemorated; commends the great work done by the management and staff, and wishes everyone all the best for many more years to come.
