That the Parliament congratulates two NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) staff members and three nursing teams on being named as finalists in the Royal College of Nursing’s Nurse of the Year Awards; notes that the awards are a celebration of excellence in Scottish nursing, acknowledging, highlighting and celebrating the unwavering commitment and exceptional professional care provided by nursing staff; understands that Kirstie Law, ear, nose and throat emergency nurse practitioner, and Julie Ferguson, associate practitioner, have been named as finalists in individual categories and the Best Start midwifery leadership team, Health for All nursing team and the assertive outreach model have been named as finalists in the team categories, and wishes all nominees the best of luck for the awards ceremony on 12 June 2025 at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh.
