That the Parliament congratulates The Leddie hotel in Aberlady and the Dunmuir Hotel in Dunbar on being named as finalists in the 2025 Prestige Scottish Hotel Awards; notes that The Leddie is shortlisted in the Best Boutique Hotel category and the Dunmuir Hotel in the Best 3 Star Hotel category; acknowledges that the awards celebrate excellence across Scotland’s hospitality sector; recognises what it sees as the vital contribution that hospitality businesses make to East Lothian and to the wider Scottish economy, supporting jobs, local supply chains and tourism; believes that the Scottish Government has failed to provide the level of targeted support that many in the hospitality sector urgently require, and calls for greater backing for the industry to ensure its continued success and sustainability.
