That the Parliament congratulates the Save the Tower campaign on its successful award of £205,900 from the Scottish Land Fund; understands that this application, alongside the group's other fundraising activities, will allow it to purchase the Tower Digital Arts Centre in Helensburgh, with a plan to open it to the public later in 2025; further understands that, when the owner announced the closure, a community steering group came together to find a sustainable future for the centre; understands that, despite many hurdles along the way, the group was able to register The Venue @ St Columba as a charity and begin fundraising to save the Tower; believes that this award of funding means that the group can now move forward with its plans to make this an inclusive community hub, and congratulates the steering group on its passion and commitment, which, it believes, will enable the Tower to have a bright and successful future.
