That the Parliament recognises the fundraising efforts of Sarah Mighton, who has taken on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for a sensory space at Bo’ness Public Primary School; understands that Sarah is currently at the school, with her probationary year coming to an end soon; believes that the sensory space will leave a lasting legacy for the pupils and staff in the years ahead; notes that Sarah’s challenge, Race for the Sensory Space, has already raised £1,520 and she has furthered her goal to £2,000; notes that the funds raised by Sarah will be used to transform a classroom into a sensory space to benefit all of the pupils, particularly those with additional support needs, by equipping the room with tactile materials, sensory regulation tools, such as weighted blankets, gym balls, sand and water play stations, fidget toys and varied coloured lights; recognises that Sarah’s Three Peaks Challenge will take place over 24 hours on 14 April 2025, weather permitting, with the start point at Ben Nevis, then onto Scaffel Pike in the Lake District before finishing in Wales to take on Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon); recognises Sarah’s efforts to raise these vital funds, and wishes her the best of luck with the challenge.
