That the Parliament congratulates Blantyre Soccer Academy on its successful opening of the former Larkfield Hall in Blantyre; understands that the academy saved the former council building from dereliction and closure and is putting it to use again for the benefit of the community; notes that the disused hall is being transformed into a vibrant modern facility that will feature a range of amenities, and that this achievement is testament to the dedication and perseverance of a committed group of volunteers; recognises that Blantyre Soccer Academy has a strong track record in renovating disused facilities, having previously taken over the Rowan Hall in Blantyre and making it a brilliant community hub; understands that Blantyre Soccer Academy has previously been named a Platinum Club and a Disability Inclusive Club by the Scottish Football Association, reflecting its commitment to advancing wider participation in amateur sport; notes that, beyond its regular training sessions and matches, the academy is involved in community outreach and engagement initiatives, from organising charity events to volunteering in community clean-up efforts; believes that, through its commitment to fostering community spirit, promoting inclusivity and empowering future leaders, it strives to make a lasting difference in the lives of its players, volunteers and wider community, and wishes the organisation all the very best for its continued success.
