Congratulating Janet Dyer and her Dog Sophie on Success at Crufts 2025

That the Parliament congratulates Jan Dyer, a retired Brownie Guider from Chryston, and her dog Sophie, on achieving first place in the veteran category at Crufts 2025; recognises the dedication and hard work required to compete at the highest level of dog showing; acknowledges what it sees as Sophie’s remarkable achievement at nine years old, demonstrating outstanding skill and training; further commends Jan for her lifelong commitment to the community through her involvement in Girlguiding, inspiring generations of young people; notes the prestige of Crufts as the world’s largest dog show, and wishes Jan and Sophie continued success in future competitions.
