That the Parliament applauds Derek Montgomery, who is from Cumnock, for his extensive efforts in raising funds for charity; recognises that Derek has been raising money for approximately 14 years for charities, including Cancer Research UK, Children with Cancer UK and Macmillan Cancer Support, and that he is currently raising funds for the Ayrshire Hospice; congratulates Derek for running 10 London marathons for cancer charities; understands that he became committed to fundraising following the loss of his brother and father to cancer; congratulates Derek on raising £56,000 since 2010, and wishes him the very best for the future.
