That the Parliament recognises the ongoing contribution of Turf Youth and Community Project, a dynamic, community-focused charity that empowers young people, families and communities in Cardonald and surrounding areas in Glasgow; understands that the key objective of Turf is to create an inclusive space where individuals can connect, learn and grow; further understands that Turf helps to build strong community relationships by delivering programmes that bring people together across generations and social backgrounds, creating opportunities for skills development, confidence building and lifelong learning, supporting individuals in realising their potential and enabling young people and families to thrive in their personal and community lives; commends the staff, particularly co-founders and project managers, Stacey Quinn and Josh Clarke, on their commitment to engaging young people in positive activities and reducing social isolation via activities and community group sessions, and supporting mental wellbeing; commends all the staff and volunteers on over five years of dedication to empowering young people, families and communities in Glasgow’s Southside, and wishes them well in all their future endeavours.
