Congratulating Brigid Soares, Girlguiding Scotland Member from Cupar, as the First Guide in the Area to Win a Gold Award

That the Parliament congratulates Cupar Girlguiding Scotland member, Brigid Soares, 14, of 3rd Cupar Guides, on earning the prestigious Gold award, which is the highest award available to Girlguiding members aged from 10 to 14 years; understands that to achieve the accolade, Brigid completed a number of activities at unit meetings and earned an interest badge across all six of Girlguiding’s themes; notes that these themes include adventures, being well, expressing themselves, knowing themselves, taking action and developing skills for their future; recognises Brigid’s commitment and hard work, and extends its very best wishes to Brigid for continued success into the future.
