1. Declaration of interests:

2. Education (Scotland) Bill:

The Committee considered the Bill at Stage 2 (Day 1).

Jenny Gilruth (Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills) declared that she is registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland.

Martin Whitfield declared that he had previous employment in education.
