5. Judicial Factors (Scotland) Bill:

The Committee considered the Bill at Stage 2.

The following amendments were agreed to (without division):  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41 and 42.

The following provisions were agreed to without amendment: sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, schedule 1, sections 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 37, 40, 41, 42, 44, 46, 47, 48, 49, schedule 3, sections 50, 51, 52 and the long title.

The following provisions were agreed to as amended: sections 1, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38, 39, 43, 45 and schedule 2.

The Committee completed Stage 2 consideration of the Bill.


6. Renters' Rights Bill (UK Parliament legislation) (in private):

The Committee considered the Scottish Government's response to points raised on a power to make subordinate legislation within devolved competence conferred on UK Ministers in the Bill. It agreed to report to the lead committee, the Local Government, Housing and Planning Committee.
