1. Declaration of interests:

Maurice Golden was invited to declare any relevant interests. Mr Golden indicated that he had no interests to declare.


2. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take item 8 in private.


3. European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018:

The Committee agreed the following instrument had been laid under the appropriate procedure and given the appropriate categorisation—

8. Animal Welfare (Kept Animals) Bill (UK Parliament legislation) (in private):

The Committee was content with the powers to make subordinate legislation conferred on Scottish Ministers in the Animal Welfare (Kept Animals) Bill (UK Parliament legislation) and agreed to report to the lead committee.
